LEAGUE NEWS

Brandon Manchip qualifies for England Under-21

Brandon Manchip has become the second player from the town to qualify from the England Under-21 trials, which were held in Great Yarmouth on Friday May 11th. He emulates his Cannibals team-mate Dan Brazil achievement in qualifying, Dan previously playing in the European Championship winning Under-21 side in 2010. Brandon also adds to his previous stint in the England Youth squad, which he qualified for in 2009. The league would like to congratulate him for yet another fantastic achievement.

Also in action during the Under-21 trials was Anthony Buttery (Bronx Bullets), who reached Round 5 of 8 and Herbie Roland (Duke of York) took part in the Seniors trials, reaching Round 6 of 8. Whilst they didn't manage to qualify, the league are proud of all of our representatives efforts.
