2007 League Presentation Night

Chris Melling entertained a packed house at The Woodrow, as the league celebrated it's annual Presentation Night. Several players donated money to charity in order to get a shot at beating the former two-time World Champion. By and large, Chris got the better of our players and even pulled off some amazing doubles and kick shots on the 8-ball. One player who did manage to get the better of him though was Sash Vadgama of Bronx Warriors, who fought hard and took his chance well when it came.

There were plenty of trophies to hand out too, which Chris helped us with. Many thanks to him for putting on a great show and as always many thanks to the committee for their sterling efforts, not only on the night, but all year round. A packed house at The Woodrow showed just how far our league has come in a short space of time.

Photography on the night was handled by Gary Slim of the Monksmen - mounted copies of all the pictures he took are available for purchase at the price of £5 per 21cm x 14cm (A5) photo. If you are interested, please contact Gary on 01527 67388 or 07880 510766. Alternatively, you can get in touch with him via email - gslim@blueyonder.co.uk.

We also recorded a few videos on the night - whilst they are not of the highest quality, they certainly do capture the great atmosphere that was created by everybody in attendance. Check out the YouTube links below:
