2008 League Presentation Night

featuring former World Champion Chris Melling
Saturday November 29th - at the Woodrow

This years Studley & Redditch Invitation Pool League presentation took place on Saturday November 29th at the Woodrow, and once again featured the former W.E.P.F World 8-Ball champion Chris Melling. The pool and snooker professional from Keighley, nicknamed "The Magician", performed his trick shot routine and helped to present all the league honours, before taking on several of the players who play each and every Wednesday night.

Those challengers had varying levels of success, but generally put up a good fight against Chris. Cue Tips Chris Brown got the ball rolling with a win after Melling had gone for an extravagant massé shot on the black and there were also wins for Adam Bristoll, Ian Roberts and Zach Taylor. One person even managed to break and dish, but you'll have to watch the videos below to find out who that was...
